Carol Joan Weeks of Apopka, Florida passed away Tuesday, March 4, 2014 in Altamonte Springs, Florida. She was born January 21, 1942 in Tyrone, Pennsylvania, to G.M. and Eleanor Lowery. Carol loved to quilt, fish, and cook for her friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by her husband of thirty-three years, Jerry Weeks; two sons, Russell Gangloff, Jr., of San Francisco, California, and Gary K. Gangloff of Lake City, Florida; two granddaughters, Cristen Welsh and Danielle Martinez of Apopka; sister, Sheila Saunders of Bushnell, Florida; brother, Jerry Lowery of Sorrento, Florida; and a host of nieces and nephews. Local relatives include a brother-in-law, James Weeks and his wife, Lana of Blountstown, Florida; a step-brother-in-law, Larry Griner and his wife, Linda of Quincy; sisters-in-law, Margie Mason, of Blountstown and Gail Koch and her husband, Bob of Crystal River; a brother-in-law, Harry Cumbaa of Blountstown; and several nieces and nephews. Family and friends will gather for graveside services for Carol Joan Weeks at 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, March 11 at Pine Memorial Cemetery. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00 p.m., Monday, March 10 at Adams Funeral Home. Flowers are accepted but the family prefers donations be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105 or Florida Baptist Children’s Home, P. O.
