Mrs. Teresa L. Brantley-Curl, age 48, of Altha, FL passed away Monday, June 30, 2014 in Gainesville, FL. Teresa was born on March 30, 1966 in Frankford, Germany and had lived in Calhoun County for most of her life. She had a Master’s Degree teaching History, Psychology and Economics at Blountstown High School. Teresa was a member of Magnolia Baptist Church near Altha and was preceded in death by her father, Bill Brantley.
Survivors include her husband of 26 years, Robert Curl of Altha, FL; mother, Merline Brantley of Altha, FL; one son, Liam Chase Brantley-Curl of Altha, FL; one daughter, Taylor Brantley-Curl of Altha, FL; three sisters, Karen Southwell of Tallahassee, FL, Jackie Southwell and her husband, Troy Howard of Milton, FL, Tracey Brantley-Adcock and her husband, Albert of Lynn Haven, FL; one niece, Sidney Adcock; two nephews, Noah and Alec Adcock.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, July 3, 2014 at 11:00 am (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Clint Clemons and Reverend John Kusnierz officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Cemetery near Altha, FL. The family will receive friends Thursday, July 3, 2014 from 10:00 am (CDT) until service time at 11:00 am (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
