Jackie Marie (Johnson) Attaway
Mrs. Jackie Marie (Johnson) Attaway, 70, of Youngstown, FL, passed away Saturday, August 9, 2014, in Panama City, FL.
Jackie was born on November 18, 1943, in Clarksville, FL, and had lived in Calhoun and Bay Counties for most of her life. She was a homemaker and a member of the First Baptist Church in Sneads, FL.
Jackie was preceded in death by her parents, Mallie and Melba Johnson, brother, Bobby Johnson, sister, Cathy Hatcher, and great nephew, Luke Tolley.
Survivors include her husband, Joe Attaway; daughters, Melanie Caron and husband, Mark, Stacy Nolen and husband, Tim, Tammy Warren and husband, Steve, Michele McDaniel and husband, James, and Kristi Attaway Newsom; brothers and sisters, Carole Kerr and husband, Bob, Phil Johnson and wife, Wanda, Don Johnson and wife, Mary Ann, and Ricky Johnson and wife, Dewanna; 10 grandchildren, Brittany Mitchell, E.J. Nolen, Tiffany Alexander, Tyler Parrish, Whitney Warren, Joseph Warren, McKenzie O’Neal, Kristian O’Neal, Dill McDaniel, and Brett Joseph Woodard; seven great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Hannah, Brooks, Kayde, Sadie, Cole, and Kain; beloved niece and nephew, Paige Tolley and husband, Shane, and Adam Hatcher.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, August 12, at 11:00 am (CDT) at Poplar Head Baptist Church in Clarksville with Reverend Mickey Johnson and Reverend Robert Dobson officiating. Interment will follow in Poplar Head Cemetery in Clarksville. The family will receive friends Monday, August 11, 2014 from 6:00 pm (CDT) until 8:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home. All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown, FL.
