Bobby Mitchell, age 71, of Blountstown, Florida passed away Friday, October 10, 2014 in Marianna, Florida. Bobby was born March 28, 1943 in Blountstown to the late Nathan and Alice (Barton) Mitchell. He was a dredge boat engineer and served his country in the National Guard. Preceding him in death were his parents; his wife, Cindy (Shuler) Mitchell; five brothers, Rufus Mitchell, Herman ‘Pete’ Mitchell, James ‘Buck’ Mitchell, Edward Mitchell and Onice Mitchell. Survivors include three sons, Charles Mitchell of Jacksonville Beach, Florida, Chris Mitchell and his wife, Missy of Marianna, and Matt Mitchell and his wife, Gretchen of St. Augustine, Florida; and two grandchildren, Lincoln Mitchell and Hudson Mitchell. The family will receive friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Sunday, October 12 at the funeral home. Services will be at 11:00 a.m., Monday, October 13 in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home with Jeff Vickery officiating. Interment will follow in Waldorff Cemetery near Grand Ridge, Florida.
