Mrs. Billie J. Tester, 84, of Clarksville, FL, passed away early Saturday morning, May 2, 2015, in Panama City.
Billie was born on November 14, 1930, in Wise County, VA, and had lived in Clarksville since 1982, coming from Michigan. Billie was a homemaker and a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Blountstown.
She was preceded in death by her son, Martin Kieth Tester.
Survivors include her husband of 62 years, John L. Tester, of Clarksville; three daughters, Elizabeth Joan Begley and her husband, Ernest, of Texas, Dorothy Jean Gardner of Texas, and Connie Bell and her husband, Wayne, of Texas; two brothers, Douglas Lawson and his wife, Sandy, of Tennessee and Grant Lawson and his wife, Dianne, of North Carolina; two sisters, Beatrice Lynch of Michigan and Loraine Willis of Virginia; 12 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren; and a daughter-in-Law, Joyce Tester, of Texas.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, May 6, at 10:00 am (CDT) at Calvary Baptist Church in Blountstown with Reverend Francis Carlisle officiating. Interment will follow in Calvary Baptist Church Cemetery in Clarksville. The family will receive friends Tuesday, May 5, 2015 from 5:00 pm (CDT) until 7:00 pm (CDT) at Calvary Baptist Church.
