Sally J. Hopkins, age 66, of Bristol, Florida passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2015 at home. Born in Quincy, Florida, June 18, 1948, she was the daughter of the late James and Eva (Gainey) Owens. Sally was a homemaker and was of the Pentecostal holiness faith. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Jean Nelson and a brother, Bennie Lee Owens. Survivors include her husband, Thomas of Bristol; son, Thomas “Bobo” Hopkins and his wife, Jennifer of Marianna, Florida; two daughters, Donna Goff and her husband, Dewayne of Bristol and Debra Clark and her husband, Frankie, also of Bristol; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two brothers, Delma Owens of Marianna and James Owens of Bristol; two sisters, Jeanette Roberson of Quitman, Georgia and Marie Hayden of Bristol; and a daughter-in-law, Lisa Peters. Graveside services will be Saturday, 11:00 a.m. ET, at Meachum Cemetery in Bristol with Reverend Larry Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. ET at the cemetery.
