Mr. Clarence William Maloy, 85, of Marianna, FL, passed away on Wednesday, May 13, 2015, in Marianna.
Clarence was born in Jackson County, FL, on March 17, 1930, to Clarence and Eva Maloy. He was employed for 14 years at Sunland, and also worked on a dredge boat as a deckhand. Clarence had lived most of his life in Marianna and was a member of Sneads Pentecostal Holiness Church in Sneads, FL.
He was preceded in death by two sons, George Randall Malloy and Fred Maloy; and a brother, Robert Maloy.
He is survived by one son, Raymond Maloy, and wife, Ingrid, of German; three daughters, Judy Harper, Darlene Strength and husband, Jimmy, and Marie Castaneda, of Altha; one brother, Hubert Maloy, and wife, Imogene, of Altha; two sisters, Virginia Taylor of Altha and Ernestine Love and husband, Bill, of Orlando, FL; 17 grandchildren; 38 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held Saturday, May 16, at 11:00 am (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown with Reverend Dwayne Tolbert officiating. Interment will follow at Sunny Hill Cemetery in Altha. The family will receive friends on Saturday, May 16, from 10:00 am until service time at 11:00 (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel in Blountstown.
