The Blountstown Tigers had their first opportunity to put all of their hard work in the heat to the test Friday night at Bowles Field in the Kickoff Classic. The Tigers faced North Bay Haven in the first half and won 14-0. After North Bay Haven and Vernon squared off, the Tigers came from behind to defeat Vernon, 7-6.
