Glenna Jean Knight, 81, of Altha, passed away Friday, November 13, 2015, in Blountstown.
Born in Eskdale, West Virginia, November 30, 1933, Glenna was the daughter of George and Grace (Gilbert) Kitchen. She attended Magnolia Baptist Church near Altha and was a homemaker.
In addition to her parents, Glenna was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth Knight; two brothers, William David Kitchen and Elijah Allen Kitchen; and two sisters, Margaret Blum and Sylvia Kitchen.
Survivors include two sons, Kenneth Lee Knight and his wife, Renee, of Winston Salem, North Carolina, and John Knight of Altha; a daughter, Marketta Boone, of Sumatra; 11 grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; two sisters, Arbutus “Boots” Boone of Crichton, West Virginia, and Myrtle Bodiford of Lexington, South Carolina.
The family will receive friends from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., Monday, November 16, at Adams Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 17, in the Chapel of Adams Funeral Home with Reverend Dewayne Tolbert and Reverend Clint Clemmons officiating. Interment will follow in Magnolia Church Cemetery.
