The Chipola River in Scott’s Ferry is of particular concern. Daniels says a public shelter is open. Call 674-8075 for shelter details. Also, fresh drinking water is available at the courthouse for anyone in need. The Calhoun County Emergency Management Center is being staffed around the clock.
