Brenda Seay, age 71, of Blountstown went home to be with the Lord Monday, January 25, 2016. She was born September 20, 1944 in Quincy to the late Leon and Audrey (Flanders) Durham. Brenda was a Blountstown High School graduate Class of 1962 and was also homecoming queen that year. She was a member of Zeta Tau Alpha Sorority at Stetson University. Brenda was a homemaker and was very dedicated to her family and church. She played piano for adult assembly services, was an active member of Women’s Missionary Union and her Sunday school class at Blountstown First Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband of fifty years, Lynwood Seay; two sons, Steven Durham Seay and Jeffery Daniel Seay, and a sister, Hester Leonard. The family will receive friends 9:30 a.m., Thursday, January 28 at Blountstown First Baptist Church and services will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Pastor Tim Rhoads officiating. Interment will be in Pine Memorial Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, please make memorial contributions to Florida Baptist Children’s Hospital, P. O. Box 8190, Lakeland, FL 33802-9963.
