James “Jimmy” Addis King, 71, of Telogia, Florida, went to rest in peace Wednesday, May 18, 2016, after a very long and courageous battle with cancer.
Jimmy was delivered into this world by a mid-wife August 25, 1944, at his home in Graceville, Florida, to the late Henry Addis and Evelyn (Hart) King. He worked as supervisor at Niagara Wires in Quincy for many years.
In addition to his parents, Henry and Evelyn King, Jimmy was preceded in death by a very treasured son, James (Keith) King; three brothers, J.D., Randolph, and Joe King; and a sister, Judy King.
Survivors include a loving son, Kenneth “Kenny” King, and his wife, Loretta; a very cherished grandson, Kenneth “Ken” King II; a granddaughter, Morgen Brown, and her fiancé, Chase Hill; and a great-grandson, Rhett Hill, all of Telogia. He is also survived by Carolyn King, the mother of his children.
The family will receive friends from 10:00-11:00 a.m. ET, Saturday, May 21, in Sanders Cemetery in Hosford. Services will follow at 11:00 a.m. ET with Reverend Dan Wells officiating.
