Walter Milton “Buck” Douberley of Telogia, Florida passed away Thursday, August 1, 2013 in Blountstown, Florida. Walter was a native and lifelong resident of Telogia and was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mabeline Douberley; a son, Reggie Douberley and his parents, Richard and Frances (Brown) Douberley.
Survivors include a son, Walter Douberley Jr. of Telogia; a step- son, William “Doodle” Pittman and wife Tammy of Telogia; daughters, Carolyn King and companion J.D. Jackson of Hosford, Florida, Cindy Goodson and husband Jimmy, Joy Crowe and husband David, Sr., and Rhonda Morris and husband Boo all of Telogia; eight grandchildren and five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Hazel Eddelman of Telogia and Yvonne Atchison and husband Homer of Wewahitchka, Florida.
The family received friends 6:00-8:00 p.m., Friday, August 2 at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol. A graveside service was held 11:00 a.m., Saturday, August 3 in Good Hope Cemetery with Kyle Peddie officiating.
