Mary Kathleen Duggar, 78, of Bristol, Florida, passed away Saturday, November 30, 2013, in Tallahassee, Florida.
She was born February 11, 1935, in Bristol to the late Neil and Dorothy (Story) Grantham. Kathleen lived in Liberty County most of her life, graduated from Liberty County High School, and was the salutatorian of her senior class.
She retired from the Bristol Post Office after 30 years of service, was a member of Telogia Baptist Church and was a member of Eastern Star.
She is survived by her husband, H. C. Duggar; her son, Darreyl Duggar, and wife Marcia, of Hosford; a daughter, Kathy Whaley, and husband, Jim, of Blountstown, Florida; four grandchildren, Laura Morrow and husband, Jason, Marcus Whaley and wife, Maria Elena, Shannon Duggar and Zack Duggar; one great-grandchild, Desmond Morrow; and a brother, Tony Grantham, and wife, Nancy, of Bristol.
The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. ET, Tuesday, December 3, at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. ET, Wednesday, December 4, at Lake Mystic Baptist Church with Reverend Jerry Chumley officiating. Interment will follow in Lake Mystic Cemetery.
