Willie Lee Page of Tallahassee, Florida, passed away Wednesday, August 22, 2012, at the age of 86.

She lived in Panama City, Florida, for many years and moved to Tallahassee in 1987. She was a homemaker and attended Ole Tabernacle Church.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband of sixty-four years, Bill Page; and her parents, William Henry and Dorenda Gill.

Survivors include three sons, Herman Page and his wife, Ellen, of Springfield, Louisiana, Cecil Page and his wife, Diane, of Tallahassee, and Carl Page of Tampa; five daughters, Jeannie Lewis and her husband, Ed, of Panama City, Glenda McCrimon of Texas, Carol Hajok of Mexico Beach, Florida, Dorenda Westfall and her husband, Rich, of Ocala, Florida, and Connie Chambers and her husband, Robert, of Tallahassee; sixteen grandchildren and twenty-two great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends which will miss her deeply.

Graveside services will be held at 12:30 p.m., ET, Saturday, August 25, at Jackson Bluff Cemetery near Tallahassee. The family will receive friends 10:00-11:30 a.m., Saturday at Adams Funeral Home in Bristol, Florida.

Everett “Bill” McFarland, was born April 7, 1931, in Blountstown, to Pearl and Everett McFarland. He passed away August 26, 2012, in Panama City at the age of 81.

Bill was retired from Vitro, was a long-time resident of Port St Joe, a member of Oak Grove Assembly of God, and a U.S. Air Force veteran.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Grace Taronto McFarland; son, Tony McFarland; and daughter, Suzanne McFarland.

He is survived by his daughters, Cindy Tomlin (Jim) and Linda Pace (Johnny); eight grandkids, Steven Odom, Jamie Tomlin, Jennifer Tomlin, Bryan Hobbs, B.J. Tomlin, Jessica Pace, John Pace, and Megan Pace; siblings, Mary Ann Hornsby, Madelyn Harlow, Lois Jean Rammacher, and Patrick McFarland; brother-in-law, Anthony Taronto (Toni); sister-in-laws, Netta Hough and Dolores Roux (Louie); 6 great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Thursday, August 30, at Oak Grove Assembly of God in Port St. Joe with burial in Holly Hill Cemetery. Viewing will be from 11-12 prior to the funeral.

OBITUARY – Lollie

Mrs. Ethel Inez Lollie, 71, of Hosford, FL, passed away early Monday morning, August 27, 2012, in Blountstown, FL.
Inez was born on September 1, 1940, in Calhoun County and had lived in Liberty County for most of her life. She was a member of the Telogia Assembly of God Church in Telogia, FL.
Inez was preceded in death her parents, Elbert Chapman Fowler and Alma Rachel (Godwin) Fowler, and a brother, James Earl Fowler.
Survivors include her husband, Curtis Lollie, of Hosford; two sons, David Allen Lollie and his wife, Debbie, of Tallahassee, FL, and Terry Dewayne Lollie and his wife, Cindy, of Blountstown; two daughters, Sharon Kay Markham and her husband, Lloyd, and Tammy Lynn Waddell and her husband, Don, all of Tallahassee; two brothers, Bobby Gerald Fowler of Hosford and Thomas Ray Fowler of Tallahassee; 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 30, at 11:00 am (EDT) at Telogia Assembly of God Church in Telogia FL with Reverend Thomas Adams officiating. Interment will follow in Sanders Cemetery in Hosford. The family will receive friends Wednesday, August 29, from 6:00 pm (EDT) until 8:00 pm (EDT) at Peavy Funeral Home.
All arrangements are under the direction of Marlon Peavy at Peavy Funeral Home in Blountstown (ph. 674-2266).

NEWS ALERT: Announcement In McLemore Case Today

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement has reportedly closed the investigation into the death of Tranum McLemore. The report has been turned over to the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office. The County Record is in the process of securing a copy of the report at this moment. Details will be announced later today and in Wednesday’s print edition.

NEWS ALERT: FDLE Reports on McLemore’s Manner of Death

It appears the mystery into the April 4 death of Blountstown Middle School coach Tranum McLemore will remain just that – a mystery.

The Florida Department of Law Enforcement released an investigative report this week, concluding that the Liberty County Sheriff’s Office initial findings of suicide were not conclusively determined. However, evidence at this time does not support findings of homicide either.

“The FDLE is closing its investigation of this matter at this time,” the report concluded. “However, in the event that new evidence is presented or becomes available at some point in the future, the FDLE will examine any such information and make a determination regarding the reopening of this investigation.”

As previously reported by The County Record, McLemore, 35, died following an alleged domestic dispute with his wife, Winter, at their home on Hoecake Road in Bristol. Winter fled to the Sheriff’s Office, saying she heard shots as she left. The LCSO immediately concluded the death was a suicide. However, family members question how a suicide could be determined so quickly when six shots were fired from McLemore’s Ruger 9MM semi-automatic pistol. He was pierced by bullets in three places – his shoulder, leg and head.

NEWS ALERT – Investigator Reports on Interview With Winter McLemore

According to a report from the Florida Department of Law Enforcement into the investigation of the April 4 death of Tranum McLemore, his wife was found to be deceptive about one thing in their interview process – her extramarital relationships.

Winter McLemore painted the picture of a jealous husband with no reason to be jealous in an interview with FDLE investigators May 29. “Winter stated that she was not having an affair before Tranum’s death and not after his death, and that Tranum had been accusing her since January of having an affair,” the investigator stated in his report, adding that she noted, “…she goes to church, takes care of her children and does ‘not do that sort of stuff.’”

However, three weeks later, when confronted with phone records subpoenaed by investigators, her story changed. Winter was asked about exchanging over 500 text messages with a Bristol man the week prior to her husband dying. She reportedly stated the man was a longtime friend who had recently divorced and she just wanted to get the name of his divorce attorney. When pressed further, she eventually confessed to romantic activities with him after her husband’s death. She further confessed to being involved with another Bristol man since January – as Tranum suspected – and admitted the relationship was still ongoing, but the man “had a lot to lose” since he was married.

According to FDLE interviews, Winter McLemore passed a polygraph test, denying any involvement in her husband’s death.

Both men were interviewed and eliminated as potential suspects.

It was noted both Tranum and Winter’s vehicles were sold shortly after his death. The vehicles were located, seized and examined, but nothing of evidentiary value was discovered.

The 2012 Blountstown Tigers traveled to Wewa last Thursday night for their pre-season classic against the Gators and won handily, 33-14. For the Tigers, it was the first time on a field with lines since practice started with all the recent rain.

Patricia Kaiser of Malone, Florida passed away Tuesday, August 28, 2012 at the age of 62. She was born in Jacksonville, Florida, later moved to Athens, Georgia, and moved to Malone a year ago. Patricia was a caregiver. She was preceded in death by her father, Reese Edwin Fielder; mother Thelma Ocile (Ingram) Fielder; and step-mother, Sarah Fielder.
She is survived by sons, Reese Keiser and his wife, Tasha, and grandson, Zachary Kaiser of Genoa, Illinois and James Kaiser, Jr. and his wife, Tina, and godson, Dalton, of Ocklawaha, Florida; and their father, Jimmy “Pops” Kaiser; two brothers, Roger Fielder and his wife, Patricia, of Altha, Florida and Christopher Fielder, Sr. and his wife, Janice, also of Altha; a sister, Sharon Jones and her husband, Chuck, of Athens, Georgia; three nieces and six nephews.
No services are planned at this time, memorialization will be by cremation.
