Eddie Kiel, 72 of Marianna, passed away Saturday, January 4, 2014 at his home. Eddie was born November 9, 1941 in Kalamazoo, Michigan to the late Eddie Sr. and Mae Coral Hayes Kiel. He had lived in Marianna for the past 29 years and was a member of Antioch Baptist Church where he had served as deacon for the past 8 years.
Survivors include his wife Elsie Kiel of Marianna; sons, Claude Kiel and his wife Carol of LaBelle, Florida and Wallie Kiel and his wife Rose of Marianna; daughters, Robin Masterson and her husband Charles of Crawfordville, Florida and Julie Ellis and her husband Johnny of Altha; grandchildren, Mindy and her husband Max and Nicholas Ellis; a step grandchild, Dustin Masterson; a great grandchild, Kaitlyn Ellis; sisters Mary Smith and her husband Bob of Kalamazoo, Michigan, Barbara Patrick and her husband Floyd of Martin, Michigan and Sharon Pixler of Otsego, Michigan and a half-sister, Cindy Davis and her husband Mike of Clearwater, Florida.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, January 7, 2014 at the Cypress Cemetery in Cypress, Florida with Reverend John Miles and Reverend Charlie Frazier officiating.
