Mrs. Alice Marie (Holland) Boals, 86, of Altha, FL, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2014, in Panama City, FL.
Marie was born on September 27, 1927, in Calhoun County and had lived here for most of her life. She was a homemaker and was of the Protestant faith.
Marie was preceded in death by her parents, Luke and Ethel (Creamer) Holland; husband, Xenophon Boals, Sr.; son, Xenophon E. Boals, Jr.; two brothers, Earl Holland and Terrell Holland; and sister, Mildred Newsome.
Survivors include three daughters, Shirley Rebecca Finn and her husband, Larry, of Largo, FL, Cynthia Ann Huisken and her husband, Bob, of Niceville, FL, and Alice Cleola King and her husband, Roger, of Blountstown; two sisters, Margaret Todd of Blountstown and Bonnie McDonald and her husband, Gill, of Altha; 10 grandchildren and 7 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Friday, April 11, at 2:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Roger King officiating. Interment will follow in Victory Hill Cemetery in Altha. The family will receive friends Thursday, April 10, from 6:00 until 8:00 pm (CDT) at Peavy Funeral Home.
