William “Bud” Barfield, 55, of Altha, Florida, passed away Saturday, April 5, 2014, in Marianna, Florida.
Bud was born in Milton, Florida, January 23, 1959, to the late William Eugene and Mary Louise (Musgrove) Barfield. Bud lived most of his life in Altha and was a tug boat captain.
He is survived by two sisters, Melanie Tatum of Altha and Sister Linda and husband, Reverend Tim Gay, of Franklinton, Louisiana; an aunt, Annie Bell Buchanan, of Tallahassee, Florida; and nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
Memorialization will be by cremation. Family and friends will gather for a celebration of life service at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, April 8, at Altha Recreational Park.
