Jay Landrum Bracewell, 61, of Blountstown, Florida, passed away Monday, December 30, 2013, in Blountstown.
Jay was a graduate of Liberty County High School in Bristol, Florida, and later served in the United States Army during the Vietnam Conflict. He was a retired boat captain.
He was preceded in death by his dad, Jay L. Bracewell.
Survivors include his mother, Leola Bracewell, of Bristol; two brothers, Dale Bracewell, also of Bristol, and Perry Bracewell of Greensboro, Florida; and a sister, Susan Clemmons, of Tallahassee, Florida.
The family will receive friends at 10:30 a.m. ET, Saturday, January 11, in Meacham Cemetery. The funeral will follow at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Coy Collins officiating.
